The Virtual Sessions ("I", "me") is the photography studio of Arslan Manzoor. This policy explains what personal information I collect through thevirtualsessions.com, why, and what you can do about it.
What I collect
- Contact form: your name, email, client type, location and message.
- Bookings: your name, email, chosen time, and your answers to the booking questions (location, what you'd like to shoot, phone model, Instagram handle).
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Your photographs: the images created during your session.
- Payments: handled entirely by the payment provider. I never see or store your full card details.
Why I use it
- To reply to your enquiries and run your session.
- To deliver your photos through a private online gallery.
- To send the newsletter, only if you subscribed. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep basic business and tax records.
I do not sell your personal information.
Services I use
Your information is processed by trusted providers on my behalf: Cal.com (bookings), Formspree (contact form), MailerLite (newsletter), Pixieset (photo galleries), Hostinger (website hosting and email) and, for payments, Stripe. Each has its own privacy policy. Some of these providers store data outside your country.
Your photographs
Your images are kept in a password-protected gallery. How images from your session may be used is set out in the Session Agreement & Model Release, which you accept when booking.
How long I keep it
Enquiries and booking records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Galleries stay online for the period stated when your photos are delivered. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for portfolio use, at any time. Email hello@thevirtualsessions.com.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Some embedded services (such as fonts or the booking calendar) may set technical cookies needed for them to work.
